From Inspiration To Innovation

ELDSTAD was born from two different but converging paths, one rooted in recovery, the other in performance.

Marios, our founder, began his path after years of high-pressure work left him with chronic fatigue, chest discomfort, and nervous system burnout. Conventional medicine offered little beyond “it’s just stress,” pushing him to search deeper. Through years of study, he discovered mineral balancing and the science of human energy pioneered by Dr. Paul Eck. This opened the door to mitochondrial biology and the essential role of near-infrared (NIR) light in cellular repair, detoxification, and nervous system regulation.

In the quiet warmth of that deep, glowing light, he found stillness — a place where his nervous system could truly exhale. Day by day, those sessions restored his energy, sleep, and sense of balance. This became the blueprint for Lystra: handcrafted NIR devices merging biological science with timeless healing principles.

Georgos’ journey was different. As an athlete, he spent years chasing natural ways to push harder, recover faster, and keep his body in peak condition. Traditional recovery methods helped, but nothing matched the speed, depth, and lasting effects of NIR light. For him, it became the missing link, a tool that combined peak performance with deep regeneration.

Together, the brothers built ELDSTAD, a handcrafted, full-spectrum NIR light system made in Sweden. Designed from natural materials and guided by timeless principles, it delivers the pure warmth of incandescent light: supporting recovery, resilience, and deep cellular healing.
